Dr. Andy Muldermans takes us through a comprehensive journey of a chiropractic adjustment session. Our goal is to restore mobility and enhance overall well-being. We start by evaluating imbalances in the body, including shoulder rotation and leg length disparities, often stemming from common hip misalignments.

Dr. Andy Muldermans performs an examination, assessing spinal motion and identifying stiffness in the upper back, as well as tightness in thigh muscles and rotational issues when bending the knees. A unique feature of our chiropractic table allows for essential adjustments, although it can be a bit noisy.

Throughout the session, Dr. Muldermans provides clear breathing instructions to ensure patient comfort. We also conduct mobility tests, such as leg raises, to address pelvic restrictions. Dr. Muldermans checks for neck restrictions, promoting optimal neck health, and performs leg length assessments to uncover any remaining imbalances.

Chiropractic adjustments, expertly administered by Dr. Muldermans, are aimed at realigning the body. The session concludes with a final check and gentle palpation to ensure everything is in order.

Throughout this video, we'll take you through various techniques and adjustments aimed at enhancing comfort, relieving muscle tension, and ensuring proper fetal development for expectant mothers.

In this video, we take you through the process of a prenatal adjustment. Nicole, who is due in about two weeks, demonstrates how a prenatal adjustment is done. As a regular chiropractic patient, she's been receiving adjustments throughout her pregnancy, with a focus on maintaining pelvic balance and overall comfort during the final trimester.

The adjustment begins with Nicole lying face down on a specially designed table that accommodates her pregnant belly. The chiropractor focuses on the pelvis to ensure it remains balanced, as pregnancy often leads to pelvic misalignment. Trigger points and stretches are used to alleviate discomfort and improve mobility.

The Webster technique, a specialized approach for prenatal care, is explained and demonstrated. It involves adjustments and ligament work to enhance pelvic and spinal alignment. The chiropractor uses gentle techniques to ensure the utmost comfort for the expectant mother.

The adjustment continues with Nicole lying on her side. Specific adjustments are made to her hips, addressing any imbalances. The chiropractor pays close attention to the round ligaments, which are crucial for promoting fetal movement and proper positioning within the uterus.

Headache relief is another aspect of prenatal chiropractic care, and Nicole receives adjustments to alleviate upper back tension. Footwork is also performed to improve foot mobility, reduce swelling, and enhance overall balance.

The video concludes with Nicole's favorite part of the adjustment—a seated technique that provides significant relief to the pregnant mother, helping to alleviate stress and discomfort.

So with kids and pediatric chiropractic, a big reason why someone will get their kid checked is maybe some inflammatory issues. A big one nowadays is going to be the ears.

So moms bring kids in with ear infections. Some of that can be diet related, but also some of it could just be the way that their bodies are holding inflammation. And so we see good results as far as working Upper Cervical in those cases. For upper upper cervical for kids, it's tonal, so a lot of it is going to be just pressure using fingertips. And most of the time, you're gonna get really good results as long as we can get the inflammation off of the body.

Consistency wise, a child care plan, if there's a pressing issue, it looks like maybe we see the patient, you know, the kid twice a week for a couple of weeks, maybe up to a month.

And then what we'll do is we'll see them once a week for about a month or two, just to make sure that as we kind of get them away from the consistent approach of chiropractic that we start to still see the progress and the improvement in their health. And so that's pediatric adjusting.

In this video, we're giving you a behind-the-scenes look at our traction devices and how they play a crucial role in spinal health. Dr. Andrew is here with us today, and we'll walk you through the setup and usage of these devices.

First, we have the medium cervical traction device. This one is designed to target the neck area, particularly the lower cervical spine. Dr. Andrew demonstrates how it's set up, allowing for neck extension and the creation of the desired neck curve. Traction is initially done for about three minutes and gradually increases over time, both in the office and at home.

Next, we move on to the thoracic traction device, which focuses on the mid-back. This device is ideal for individuals with a rounded or hunched posture. As Dr. Andrew shows, it encourages shoulder retraction and thoracic extension. This helps combat the effects of poor posture caused by activities like prolonged phone use.

Lastly, we introduce the lumbar traction device, specifically designed for the lower back. It promotes a healthy lumbar curve and spine alignment. Like the others, the traction time begins at around three minutes and gradually progresses as comfort and tolerance levels improve.

While these devices may not be the most comfortable initially, they are vital in achieving the structural improvements we aim for in post-X-ray assessments. We customize the usage and duration of traction for each patient's unique needs to ensure optimal results in spinal correction.

Stay tuned for more insights into spinal health and the techniques we use to enhance your well-being.

In this informative video from Movement Chiropractic, we'll take you through a series of warm-up stretches and exercises that are an integral part of their chiropractic care routine. These warm-up routines are designed to prepare practice members for their adjustments, ensuring maximum comfort and effectiveness.

The video starts by introducing the use of a wobble chair, a unique chair with pivot points that facilitate lumbar spine warm-up exercises. Dr. Bryan Hammer explains the importance of targeting the lumbar spine, a common area of discomfort for many. The warm-up includes three basic movements: side-to-side rocking, forward and backward flexion and extension, and rotation. These exercises help mobilize the lumbar spine and prepare it for chiropractic adjustments.

Next, Dr. Hammer introduces pro lordotic bands, which are used to improve neck mobility. He demonstrates how to use these bands to work on various ranges of motion for the neck, including extension, rotation, and lateral bending. These exercises help engage neck muscles and encourage proper posture, especially for those who spend long hours in front of screens or have sedentary lifestyles.

The philosophy behind these warm-up exercises is to get practice members moving and prepare their bodies for chiropractic adjustments. Whether you've had a long day at work or have been busy with household chores, these warm-up routines aim to alleviate tension and improve mobility before your adjustment session.

Join us in adopting these beneficial warm-up stretches and exercises to enhance your chiropractic experience and overall well-being.

The Dennerolls are a crucial part of our spinal correction approach. These seemingly simple foam devices have a significant impact on changing the structure of the spine. Extensive research supports their effectiveness in promoting spinal health.

Our cervical denture rolls come in different sizes, allowing us to customize the correction potential for each patient. They are especially beneficial for addressing issues caused by modern habits like excessive tablet and smartphone use.

For mid-back correction, we use thoracic devices. These help individuals with conditions like kyphosis to achieve better extension in their spine. We offer various sizes to cater to different needs. The lumbar generals focus on the lower back and are available in different sizes. These devices are essential for improving lordosis and addressing issues such as a straightened spine. The correct size is determined based on X-ray assessments.

This beginner device for lumbar correction is ideal for those who find the full lumbar roll uncomfortable initially. Just like braces for straightening teeth, these devices apply pressure to help achieve spinal correction. Intensive but effective, our scoliosis correction generals target spinal alignment in cases of scoliosis.

Whether for the low back or mid-back, the choice is personalized based on correction potential X-ray results. Join us on this informative journey into spinal correction and the specialized devices that assist us in enhancing spinal health.
